Symposium Theme

The topics of the conference will be focused on the research of the culture of Chinese characters and language, research on the philosophy and religion within Chinese characters as well as other issues related to Chinese characters.

Purpose of the Symposium

The First International Symposium on the Culture of Chinese Characters and Language will be held to strengthen the international exchanges among scholars who study Chinese characters and language, to promote international education and research of culture of Chinese characters and language, and to promote the advancement of the local Chinese research and teaching standards.

Registration

The registration fee is $150 before June 15 and goes up to $250 after June 15. The registration deadline is July 15, 2014. The registration fee includes all meals during the conference and a two night stay at the conference hotel on August 15 and 16 for Oklahoma Residents and for non-Oklahoma Residents an optional third night on August 17.
